    Chatham Area Transit (CAT) Update:

    3/10/2026 – Chatham Area Transit Authority (CAT) services will be impacted on Tuesday March 17, during the St. Patrick’s Day festivities.

    The City of Savannah is sponsoring zero-fare service from 5:00 a.m. – 10 p.m., for CAT’s fixed-route and paratransit services on St. Patrick’s Day.

    On Tuesday, March 17, CAT’s fixed-route service will run on a modified schedule due to route detours within the St. Patrick’s Day route.

    CAT will not be operating shuttles on St. Patrick’s Day.

    Reminder: Coolers or large objects are not allowed on CAT’s buses.

    CAT Connect:

    • Running normal operations

    Paratransit:

    • Running normal operations, downtown service may be impacted on Tuesday, March 17

    The Savannah Belles Ferry:

    • Running normal operations: 7 a.m. – 10 p.m.
    • Ferries will not service the City Hall Landing dock after 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 14 – Sunday, March 15
    • The ferries will only serve the Savannah Convention Center Landing and the Waving Girl Landing on Tuesday, March 17. There will be no City Hall Landing service on St. Patrick’s Day.

    DOT Shuttle:

    The DOT shuttle will not operate on St. Patrick’s Day.
