Richie Sambora and Heather Locklear have come together 20 years after their difficult divorce for their daughter, Ava.

The former Bon Jovi guitarist and his Melrose Place actress ex-wife both attended the nuptials at five-star hotel Rosewood Miramar, located in Montecito, California.

Ava Sambora, 28, walked down the aisle with both her parents to marry Tyler Farrar, whom she was first linked to back in 2018.

The rocker wore a three-piece tux for what appeared to be a black tie wedding, while Locklear stunned in a black halterneck gown.

It’s understood the 64-year-old actress attended with her actor boyfriend Lorenzo Lamas, 68, marking one of their first public engagements together as a couple.

The pair, who had a nasty split but have remained amicable for the last two decades for the sake of their daughter, sat in the same row for the ceremony.

They were separated by a woman who it’s believed attend with 66-year-old Sambora but their relationship is unknown.

One of Locklear’s friends, Juliet Walsh, shared a raft of photos on social media following Saturday’s event, showing the happy couple sealing their vows with a kiss as well as the beaming mother of the bride.

Walsh wasn’t the only one, with the proud father of the bride sharing two short clips from the night on his own social media.

One was from his daddy-daughter dance, which showed the DJ play Sambora’s hit I’ll Always Walk Beside You as they walked to the dancefloor.

The second clip showed the party singing their heart out to the Bon Jovi hit Livin’ On A Prayer, which Sambora co-wrote.

The now-newlyweds announced their engagement on social media in February 2024, with an image of Farrar on bended knee and the couple surrounded by white roses.

“Hard launch!!” they captioned the joint post.

Locklear and Richie welcomed their only daughter in 1997, three years after they wed. The then-power couple announced their separation in 2004, after 10 years of marriage.

Locklear filed for divorce in 2006 and their marriage was officially ended in 2007.

Very soon after their split, Sambora got into a relationship with Locklear’s then best friend, Denise Richards but the Bond Girl, who had split from Charlie Sheen, denies they had an affair.

In a 2014 interview Sambora said he and Locklear maintained their relationship for the sake of their daughter.

Like it or not, we can all occasionally become a little over-invested in celeb relationships. And when we say a little, we mean sitting around eating copious amounts of ice-cream after hearing word of our fave couples split...wearing our Team Jen tees of course. Have a flick through our gallery of perfect pairs that we secretly wish would just kiss and make up...<br/>

Celeb couples we (secretly) wish never split!

“If you don’t get along you are messing the kid up,” he told People magazine.

“That’s what happens. So you have to put that before whatever s**** is going on. Communication has got to come first.”
