School Meal Price Adjustments for SY 2026-27
Based on a review conducted by the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) in April 2026, the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS) must amend adult meal pricing to ensure compliance with federal requirements. The Board approved an adjustment to the adult breakfast price. In addition, à la carte pricing for both students and adults will be adjusted proportionally to better align with the actual cost of meal production while ensuring that pricing remains within allowable limits. Student reimbursable meal pricing will remain unchanged and will continue to be provided at one meal for breakfast and one meal for lunch at no cost under the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), ensuring no impact on student access.
